Braces have been the standard for straightening teeth for over 50 years. Modern technology makes them more comfortable and effective than ever.

Why Braces?

Braces have been straightening teeth for over 50 years — and they're still the gold standard for a reason.

They work for everything

Crowding, spacing, overbites, underbites, crossbites, complex jaw issues — braces handle cases that other treatments can't.

They're always working

Unlike removable aligners, braces are bonded to your teeth 24/7. No compliance guesswork. No risk of lost trays.

They've gotten way better

Today's brackets are roughly half the size they were 20 years ago. Advanced wires move teeth faster with less soreness.

How It Works

Free consultation

We examine your teeth, take digital scans, and map out a personalized treatment plan.

Braces placement (~1–2 hours)

We bond the brackets and thread the wire. Painless, just a bit tedious.

Adjustments every 4–6 weeks

Quick 20–30 minute visits to change wires, check progress, and make tweaks.

Braces off + retainers

Once your teeth are in position, we remove the braces and fit you with retainers to lock in the results.

“There are so many orthodontists in L.A. so I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Molayem. I’m afraid they don’t make them like him anymore.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Do braces hurt?

Getting them on doesn't hurt. You'll feel soreness for a few days after placement and adjustments — manageable with over-the-counter pain relievers.

What can't I eat?

Avoid hard foods (ice, nuts, hard candy), sticky foods (caramel, taffy, gum), and crunchy snacks (popcorn, hard pretzels). Most of what you normally eat is fine.

Can I play sports?

Yes. Just wear a mouthguard — we'll provide one.

Can I choose band colors?

Yes! Kids and teens love this. Change colors at every appointment.

Will I need a retainer after?

Yes. Retainers keep your teeth in place after treatment. Most patients wear them at night.

What if a bracket breaks?

Call us and we'll get you in for a quick fix. It happens — no big deal.

Will I need to wear a retainer after?

Yes. Retainers keep your teeth in place after treatment. Most patients wear them at night.
